Instructions and Etiquette for Court Hearings Online

The Court of Queen’s Bench has posted an announcement with instructions and etiquette for attending court hearings online. This information is for lawyers, clients and/or self-represented litigants, members of the public and the media. The etiquette guide includes information about how to dress for an Online Hearing, what technology to use, and how to conduct oneself.

Online Hearings use the Cisco WebEx Meeting application. Instructions to use this application are available.

It is important to know that recording, live streaming or broadcasting video or audio of any online hearing is strictly prohibited. Non-lawyers attending Online Hearings are to file an Undertaking an Agreement of Non-Lawyer which states that the person attending an Online Hearing agrees not to record or rebroadcast the proceedings.
