The Court of Queen’s Bench has announced three new desk application processes. “Desk Applications” do not require an in-person appearance.
The new processes are:
- For Notices to Disclose (used to obtained financial information in support or property matters);
- For “simple” matters (what is “simple” is defined in the notice); and
- For other family matters, where there are two lawyers.
The steps for each process are outlined in the notices. The lawyers at Latitude Family Law are available to assist people wishing to make use of any of these new processes.
